TARHUNNA
Aerosol-generating, hygroscopic flare for warm cloud seeding
TARHUNNA
Burn-in-place flare
- Pyrotechnic burn-in-place operation,
- Liquid polymer compound base delivers multiple benefits,
- Features our unique, highly effective cloud seeding reagent,
- Safe (non-explosive) and reliable (can be stored for up to 10 years).
Application
Tarhunna Burn-In-Place (BIP) flares are used in warm cloud seeding scenarios and can be dispersed from both top and bottom seeding approaches. Depending on the application technique, Tarhunna Burn-In-Place (BIP) flares can be used to enhance or suppress liquid precipitation and are commonly used for:
- Rain enhancement
- Rain suppression
Performance Benefits of TARHUNNA
- Improved Reliability – The new design provides dependable burning intensity with dual burn configuration.
- Superior Safety – CST engineers design and rigorously test our proprietary materials to virtually eliminate the risk of spontaneous explosions.
- High Operating Altitude – Tarhunna BIP flares can be used up to an altitude of 20,000 ft, (6 km) ASL.
- Extended Shelf-Life – The properties of Tarhunna BIP flares allow significantly longer storage times than traditional flares.
- Configuration Flexibility – Tarhunna flares can be configured to suit specific project needs while maintaining high efficiency output throughout the entire burn or dual-burn time.
